Nick Di Marzo - Chief Executive Officer
Nick Di Marzo has over 2O years experience in various senior leadership positions throughout the Middle East and Asia-Pacific regions, bringing with him a wealth of sales, marketing, commercial and operations skills from some of the world's leading telco operators. Recent Middle East positions include GM - Consumer Division & Head of Mobiles, Internet and Fixed Products for market leader Batelco, in Bahrain. Prior to which he was heading Retail Nawras, Oman's 2nd mobile operator. Other leadership roles include Director - Retail & Distribution for market leader Telstra in Australia, Regional Director - British Telecom Wireless in Asia, GM - South Asia for Cable & Wireless, as well as Director - Retail for Virgin Mobile, Asia.

Nick Di Marzo is qualified in Engineering and Marketing, and is married with 3 children. 

 

Salem Al-Ghamdi - Chief Financial Officer


Khalid Kayal - General Manager of Marketing 
MR. Khalid Kayal is the General Manager of Marketing at Sale for Distribution and Communication Company. Mr. Kayal has held leading positions in key multinational FMCG companies namely Unilever, Kraft, and PepsiCo and gained substantial and extensive experience in marketing and management with an in-depth understanding of the consumer base in the GCC and wider Middle East.

In recognition of his significant achievements, Mr. Kayal has received several GMR and Unilever Excellence awards. He holds a double major degree in Management and Marketing from the University of Portland in the United States. Mr. Kayal graduated with honors and was recognized with academic excellence. 

 

Ahmad Mattar -General Manager of Retail 
During the course of his career, Ahmad has assimilated a wide range of retail experience with a raft of top-level assignments across numerous industry sectors such Banking, Oil & Gas, Manufacturing and Government. WIth over 16 years of seasoned business consulting experience, and handling strategic projects for a variety of organbizations such as PWC Logistics, Al Rajhi Bank, Riyad bank, NCB and the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency (SAMA), as well as Consulting for Anderson Consulting, Newtek & Ejada, Ahmad has built up un-rivaled expertise in deploying turnkey solutions in mid to large size corporations. He is an engineer by profession and has invested in extensive training programs to stay abreast of the latest business, finance and retail trends.

Ahmad is an engineer by profession and married with 6 children.


Hisham Malhas - General Manager of Sales and Distribution
With over 15 years of progressive experience across the Middle East, Hisham Malhas has played an instrumental role in the success of organizations such as Kraft Foods, Gillette and Chupa Chups. Hisham brings with him strong cross functional experience throughout Sales, manufacturing, marketing, supply chain, finance and distributor management. Prior to joining Sale-co, Hisham, held multiple roles with Kraft Foods as Business Director KSA, General Manager Nabisco Factory and Member of The board of Directors for Kraft Foods GCC. Other leadership roles included Business Director for Chupa Chups GCC (Saudi, UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, & Oman) as well as Egypt.

Hisham is qualified as an Engineer, and is married with 3 daughters.

 

Mahmoud Elmakkouk - General Manager of IT           

In addition to his extensive track record in information technology, Mahmoud has proven experience working in a wide range of industries from the government and private sectors, including Oil and Gas, Manufacturing, Trade, Retail and Telecommunications.

Mahmoud’s fifteen years of experience stems from his managerial and consulting roles in information technology for Andersen Consulting and Newtek Solutions across the region, including Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Yemen, Jordan, Lebanon, and the United Arab Emirates.  Throughout this experience, he acquired unique capabilities in planning, implementing, and commissioning IT infrastructure and workflow systems for medium and large companies from the private and public sectors.  His experience propelled him from Consultant to Project Manager and on to Chief Information Officer.

Mahmoud is a B.S. graduate of Business Computer, and has participated in a number of courses and training programs to maintain his expertise in the dynamic field of information technologies.  He is married, and has three kids.

Ibrahim Al-Amer – General Manager of HR
Mr. Ibrahim Al-Amer is the General Manager of Human Resources at SaleCo. Al-Amer has more than 15 years experience with major local and multinational companies from various industries such as; Retail, FMCG, Manufacturing, Real Estate, Construction, Aviation & Entertainment, which has enabled him to add great value to SALECO. The last position Ibrahim has held was the VP-HR for Al-Othaim Holding Company, and was the HR Manager of Al Safi-Danone prior to that. Ibrahim was the HR Manager for NAS Aviation Company, and was also the recruitment Manager for Almarai. Mr. Al-Amer also served at AEC Company as a Personnel Manager. Ibrahim holds an MBA Degree from the University of Hull-UK, has also attended several professional training courses from accredited local and international institutes

Hicham Aouda - General Manager of Supply Chain
Hicham Aouda heads Supply Chain at SaleCo and brings with him 15 years of regional expertise with Procter & Gamble. He has held leading positions in Manufacturing and Supply chain in North West Africa, Eastern Europe and the Arabian Peninsula.

Hicham is an Industrial engineer, graduated from the French "Grandes Ecoles d'Ingenieurs" and also has a MS in Computer science from the University of Nancy, France. 

 

Waleed Gazzaz - General Manager of Enterprise Business
With 18+ years of amalgamated experience in Information & Telecommunications, sales and marketing, general management and leadership positions, Waleed brings a unique blend of skills and expertise geared to startup and turnaround businesses in Saudi Arabia. Recent positions include General Manager of Arabian Computer Projects Co. Ltd., part of the Juffali group, prior to which he played lead roles in launching Mobily, Saudi Arabia’s 2nd mobile operator and developing their Corporate & VIP sales Organization. He also held key positions at Saudi Business Machines Co. Ltd., the General Marketing & Services Representative for global giant, IBM WTC.

Waleed Gazzaz is qualified in Computer Science and married with 6 children. 

 

Abdullah Abudawood - General Manager of Strategic Planning and Business Development

Mr. Abdullah Abudawood is the General Manager responsible for Sale-Co Strategic Planning process, Business Development, Performance Management and Project Management programs. Mr. Abudawood has around 15 years of divers hands-on experience in sales planning and management , strategy building, business development and distribution & logistics operations. He has held different leading positions with prime local and multinational companies namely Banaja Holding,  Agility logistics, Al-Watania Transport, Emaar Economic City and Jazan Economic City. Mr. Abudawood holds BA in Marketing from College of Business Administration with honors along with various advance certifications in leadership, management , finance and investment.  


Soren Laegaard – CEO Oman
Mr. Soren Laegaard is CEO of Sale Oman. He has a wealth of experience in IT and Telecom in both Europe and the Middle East. His global experience emanates from working as a successful professional in the field for 15 years. His former positions include CEO of Boligsiden A/S, Denmark; Special Projects with Batelco, Bahrain; Director of Indirect Sales with du, UAE; Head of Indirect Channels with Nawras, Oman; and Director of Online Channels with TDC, Denmark

 

Niklas Nielsen – CEO Bahrain

 Mr. Niklas launched SALE’s operation in Bahrain in March 2010. After this he concentrated on SALE’s international expansion and launched the Group’s operation in Oman, before he came back in the role as CEO of SALE Bahrain. Niklas previous  experience in the  Middle East and North Africa covered numerous leadership roles such as CEO of Renna in Oman, Sales Director of Nawras in Oman, as well as Management Consultant in Afghanistan. Niklas has  European expertise and held various positions of which the most important ones were in TeleDenmark as Sales Director, Business Enterprise Director, Chief Commercial Officer of TeleDenmark in Poland, and CEO Cash Server in Denmark.
